Vote By Mail information

The elections office has heard that many of the El Granada permanent absentee voters have not received their ballots.  Those who receive their mail in P.O. boxes are particularly impacted. If you are missing you ballot, here is what you can do:

Tuesday noon is the oficial deadline to call the elections office at 312-5222 to request a duplicate ballot by mail. However, if people call after the deadline, the elections office will hand deliver the duplicate ballot. Please call the elections office, 312-5222, even after the deadline, to see about a replacement ballot.

If people don't receive their ballots in time to mail them back in, ballots can be dropped off before election day at 40 Tower Road or at any City Hall or on election day at 40 Tower Road or any polling place

If people don't receive their ballots at all, they can cast a Provisional ballot, but only at 40 Tower Road or their own precinct polling place. Call 312-5222 to get your polling place.

Alternatively, the following website will let people look up their polling place: http://www.smartvoter.org/ca/sm/
