Measure E is vital for the future of our Coastside elementary, middle and high schools. That is why concerned parents and community members are signing up to help the Measure E campaign now! Because we need a 67% YES vote to pass Measure E for our schools, we need hundreds of volunteers to step up for our schools—our children need your help.
To date, hundreds of volunteers have put in time reaching out to our community through phone banks, knocking on doors, putting up signs, fundraising and more. But the Get Out the Vote effort still requires hundreds of volunteers to make sure we maintain our positive momentum and celebrate a victory on June 8th. There are two key activities over the next 2 weeks where we need an even greater level of volunteer commitment than we've had throughout the campaign:1. Get out the Vote Phone Banking, June 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8: We will be calling from 5:30 - 8:00 each of those nights, and from 12 - 3 and 5 -8 on election day, June 8th. We will have multiple calling locations set up to accommodate what we hope will be a record number of volunteers on these critical dates!
2. Get out the Vote Precinct Walk, June 5th and 6th: The precinct walks have been very successful and also a lot of fun and a great way to get kids involved as well. You can walk your own neighborhood to make sure your neighbors get to the polls or leave doorhangers to remind people to get to the polls. If you would like to precinct walk your own neighborhood (this is very effective), please include your address in your return email so we can a specific packet for you.
